you’re so oooh, so ahhh, so cool!

I normally don’t have much to say about music.  I’m not an elitist.  I’m pretty much never one of the first to discover new bands.  I’m an unashamed Top 40 kinda girl – rarely buying albums because I listen to the radio all the time and so frequently get to hear my favourites for free.

But today I feel like talking about a band that I quite adore these days…

Alphabeat… I love them! To the extent that I’m actually willing to BUY their album!   (shock, awe)

We saw them a month-ish ago and despite only knowing one song I had a fantastic time!

When they came on, the lead guy said, “We’re called Alphabeat, we’re from Denmark, and we play pop music.”
Yup!  That about sums it up!

Such a fun show…  The contrast between Anders’ crazy, without-abandon dancing and Stine’s sweet little shimmeying is so fun to watch.

And most importantly they’re songs that you can bounce around to and belt out the words.

Their first single “Fascination” had me hooked for days, and I have to say that their next one, “10,000 Nights”, doesn’t disappoint either.

Looking forward to what they will do next and hoping they’ll stick around for more albums!
